The February 2009 issue of Entrepreneur magazine hit the newsstands on Friday. The special report is "Laid Off?: Start a Business in `09" and I`m featured as an "expert" in the "Marketing Makeovers" article. The major national exposure is due to Help A Reporter Out (HARO) and writer Gwen Moran.

I originally responded to a HARO request as a possible submitter of examples of business makeovers. Ms. Moran suggested that instead, as the author of the book "Identity Crisis!: 50 Redesigns That Transformed Stale Identities into Successful Brands," she would like me to be one of the experts commenting on the makeovers of others.

Now it`s time for me to start "tooting!" about the incredible publicity. I`d recommend that all StartupNation members sign-up to receive the HARO email updates of reporter/writer requests. The Entrepreneur article opportunity is just one with which I`ve had success in responding to reporter/writer requests through HARO.

Wishing you all the best in 2009!

(NOTE: If/when the Entrepreneur article is posted online I will share the link.)

That`s sweet Jeff!  I love Gwen`s writing and HARO is most excellent (a bit too much at times at three a day and tweets!~)

What`s with your hyperlinks?  Is your biznik giving you traffic/click reports?

Chris -

Thanks for the note - and the heads-up about the hyperlinks.  I wasn`t aware the Biznik links were embedded when I copied them.

Entrepreneur Magazine posted the article on their site yesterday.  I included a bit more information in my "Toot! Toot!" press release about being included in the feature.

Just had an email from a friend telling me they had come across the "Marketing Makeovers" article posted on the US News & World Reports website.  Nice.
