What is new!

I have a client who has paid around two thousand dollars in Surveillance/ GPS / and Audio Surveillance.  We have found the other half hasn`t been caught cheating, but lying about the whereabouts and what’s been going on during the day.  My client is frustrated and the family tells client to leave other half.  Client is confiding in me, which I feel uncomfortable in telling said client how to deal with client’s life.  I’m not a psychologist.

Q; what do I tell said client / business wise and were do I stand keeping client on a professional level and not personal.  Note: This is not the first time I have encountered this problem.

I would explain your situation honestly to your client.  Maybe you should maintain a list of certified family therapists to hand over to your clients.  Be as understanding and as ambivalent as possible.  You are just a messenger.

"I"m sorry, but I`m purely in the surviellence business.  You should consult a professional that provides you with that kind of advice. Thank you for understanding my position, and I wish you the best."

James,

I am a handyman who listens to numerous troubled customers with sympathy and empathy. Being a student of Jesus and the Bible, I have offered hope-filled solutions to all who can bear to hear the truth....without having to be a "psychologist." (they rarely help anyone but themselves...I never met a poor one!) www.DoYouKnowForSure.com

If you have missed knowing me, you have missed nothing.

If you have missed some of my emails, you also missed little.

But, if you have missed knowing my LORD and SAVIOR,  JESUS CHRIST,

you have missed everything in the world.

Go to local psycologists and counselors. Let them know in general terms what you are dealing with and work out a percentage commission for getting them clients, they keep you in mind when clients come to them with real issues that may put their minds at ease if they use your services, This is cross marketing. Also (you may already know this, but) alot of couselors and therapists find themselves getting stalked and such by clients. This may open a door for you in that respect also.

I tried to be sympathetic, understanding and I referred to a psychologist but they “look at me as if I was crazy”.

They want me for them, as if I was their only client... I want that for the business "make you feel as if you’re my only client"

Infidelity cases get very emotional and can turn on you. When I was a cop I got a call of an Arson Fire, while there I was talking to a Fire Captain while we watched a trailer burn.

His men were running in and out checking for people.  I told the Fire Captain.*jokingly.*   “What kind of crazy person would run into a burning building”.

He replied what kind of crazy person would be a cop,

The Fire Captain said “You can control fires, you can’t control people”

I got it......
