Have two companies, one in South Carolina (an LLC)and another in Georgia. The South Carolina LLC company needs to change the name and will be going to California.

The other company will get the same name change but will be located in Georgia. Both companies are going to change names from name "A", to both having the same new name "B".

I guess im asking what i need to do. The other question is will i be able to use the same EIN number that already exists? There will be a change to the California company ownership.

Thanks in advance!
