I would like to know if anyone knows the process in establishing a home-based care giver, home health care, assisted living, etc.  I researched this in the early 1990s in Hawaii, and wanted to start it with my mom, now retired LPN, but because I did not own a home, it was very difficult to start one.  The landlord that we rented from did not allow us to do so.

Now that I have 3 homes in San Antonio, TX, I would like to have my relatives, who are in the medical fields, to operate it since they`ve have experience working in elderly homes in Hawaii.  I grew up around elderly people since most of my friends` parents operated home-based care provider in Waipahu, HI.

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
