I`m looking for $10,000.00 to purcahse three used cameras, for my production and post-production company.

You will be paid back in installments of $650 a month for 18 months.

We produce commercials and independent feature and short films. We also do camera work for other peoples productions.

Couple of options for you:

Non-Bank equipment lenders.  These companies will fund any types of equipment that is used for business.  Plus, some of them will also privide additional working capital with the financing.  They have many programs that could get you the equipment you need qucikly.

Micro-Credit loans - these non-profit companies provide small capital loans to start-up firms like yours.

Peer-to-peer social lending networks - where members borrow and lend to each other.

I looked into Peer-to-Peer and I don`t qualify (atleast at the ones I found) because I have no personal credit. By Equipment Lenders, I`m assuming you`re talking about Leasing? Can`t do that either, because I`m going to turn around and trade-in the purchased cameras, for better cameras. I need the 20k to purchase used cameras to trade in for the new ones. In the long run it saves me 190k. I can`t find any micro-loan companies, if you have any links that would be great.

Apply for a credit card.  $10K, that`s just (1) CC.

I already applied for 7 cards and was denied from 6 of them, still don`t know about the 7th. I was denied primarily because I have no personal credit.

Well I need to purchase these cameras by September or it`s not worth it, because the trade-in offer ends September 30. So I don`t really have 6 months to build credit. Beyond that point, I really don`t need credit. I can make an average of $750-$1000 a day (per camera) plus $300-$500 a day as a camera operator, So if I work more than 100 days with two cameras, I`d cover the loan/credit and then be able to function without the need for credit. I applied for an SBA loan with TDBank, but won`t know anything until Monday.

I think we can help you if you have something to collateralize the loan with.  We can fund within 24 hrs.
