Whoever can help —

I signed up for the free trial of the Daily Dashboard to see if it offered anything over my existing systems but it really doesn`t. So I`d like to cancel before I get billed but there does not seem to be any way to do so... I tried calling the number a few times but I either get stuck in an automated loop or no one answers; and there is no way within the application itself to cancel, and nothing in the applications FAQ explaining any other way.

Sorry to post this here, as I know it is not the best place, but I`m pretty much stuck at this point. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
—paula

Paula,

There are two ways through which you may choose to discontinue the service.  Once you are logged in, go ahead and click on the Help link in the top right corner of the browser.  You should see a new browser window open up.  From there, you may choose to click on "Contact Us", and you should see the different ways you can communicate with our customer support team.  You may either choose to send us an email, at which point our customer support will contact you, or call the 800 number listed (800-791-1000).

If you are put on hold, you may hit the number "2" to be directed to technical support, who will also assist you.

I would like to apologize for the problems you may have had contacting our support team.  We are currently investigating the situation to see what may have occurred so that we may remedy it immediately.

Thank you.

Hey Rich & Sfrandsen —

All is squared away with my Daily Dashboard account. I really appreciate your quick response to this, many thanks for taking a single small-time client like me seriously. I told the gentlemen who emailed me that if I ever have a need to hire out for these kinds of services I now know where to look.

Thanks again,
—paula

glad it worked out... would love to know what features our service would have to have to make it something more valuable to your business endeavors...

Gosh sorry, I did not catch this until just now.

For me personally, if I were putting all my various paperwork systems together from scratch My Daily Dashboard would certainly be on the short list. But ultimately I would probably go with the provider I`m using now, which offers free, stripped-down versions of its web apps that are just right for me as a loner (as well as being web industry leaders and standards-setters, but I would imagine that is of less interest to non-designers).

That`s not quite what you asked but hopefully it helps answer your question to some degree.

I think MDD is probably excellent for most people. Clearly a lot of thoughtfulness went into planning & building it... it`s just not what I need at this point.
