Humble -
First off, I appreciate the hard work that you put into your site. What platform are you using?
Ok, you need to double check your spelling and grammar. In some cases, you spelled a work correctly, but used it in the wrong instance. (your interest was picqued, not peeked.). In other cases, you should be putting a thought in quotes, so i'ts obvious to the reader that you are quoting your own thought. ( We were thinking, "Yeah, right...they all say that!")
So you need to proof-read your reviews better.
Second, I believe/agree that blogs and reviews should sound like they are written by a person and not a pitchman..but at the same token you need to sound professional. As you build your core audience, you want to be considered the Expert in what you are discussing. Your site has a down-home, almost amateur feel to it. I am concerned that serious dieters will take your advice lightly.
Your 'About Us' section should speak to your credentials. I mean, just who are you to critique diet plans anyway? I dont mean this with any disrespect..I mean, you should be proud of your experience and brag about it.
Lastly, I am not clear on how you plan to earn money with the site. I don't see banner ads. Are you an affiliate for each of these items your are reviewing? (I would guess not, else you would run athe risk of conflict of interest.)
I hope this fedback is helpful. Let me know how else I can help, and PM me if you are not comfortable continuing the conversation here...
