The straight-leggedness of those 17 year old leather boots reminds me of the Leg Lamp in the movie The Christmas Story

Just no shape in the calf! Makes us wonder what on earth we were thinking originally doesn`t it. I compacted those 17 year old boots as small as possible into the garbage bag without wasted time. I think it was a good idea so that I wouldn`t let them take up space in my closet any more. Not worn them for about 10 years, very uncomfy ...i am a shoe freak, but I think those 17 year old no-name boots were definitely old waste and NOT vintage style. Do you agree with me?

Crissy, you are too funny! I actually like them. I might not wear them, but being 17yrs old you may have wanted to try to give them to a crafty girlfriend or something. It might make a nice planter, repurposed pencil holder, decoration for a closet...
they really are kinda cute. Me personally, I`m a Cole Haans girl. They are my biggest splurge. C`mon combining Nike technology and cute heels- I only wish I would have thought about it first...
Another idea, send them to SJP of SexATC, with a cute funny note. She may have found use for them...

I love shoes!!!  But I`m not a big fan of boots...I think they`re alright even though they don`t look that comfy.  They`d be cuter with a chunky heel.

LOL those are quite interesting! Just no shape in the calf!  I`m sure you were sick of those old boots. I love boots, but after 17 years it was time to put them out of their misery. Props to you for not trying to pass off garbage as something fashionable. Who really wants old ratty leftovers, especially footwear ...Ewwwwwww! Those 17 year old boots were definitely garbage!!!

I`m terrible at thinning my herd of shoes (coats & purses, too.) Kudos for managing to let go of a pair! Though, it`s tough to decide, because you know someday they`ll probably be back in style - haha :-)

I prefer boots with shape high heels and pointy toes . Old fashions often come back in style, but never quite the same! I mean if they`ve been sitting in the closet for 10 years without being worn... they are definitely garbage!  I´m a shoe freak, so I`m very interesting in your opinions. Please reply!!! I hope i am NOT the only shoe freak who would put those 17 year old boots straight into the garbage. Not vintage, they look really old
