1-Solar is delighted to announce that our team has been named winner of the  Renewable Energy category of the business plan competition.

The Sponsors of the award are PG&E, SDG&E, and SCE.

The 6-category winners also receive an all-expenses-paid trip to DOE to present their business plans to DOE commissioners, which event could lead to grants from DOE and help in commercialization.

It goes without saying that we`re flooded with invitations to present our business plan to VCs in the SFO Bay Area for possible funding.  We will actually have such a meeting tomorrow Tuesday 10/30 at 10AM.
