I have a friend that is trying to buy an existing business wich is already -profitable it just needs some advertisement. We are tring to find some kind of funding info. on this and keep hitting dead ends. Myself and my sigifacant other are trying to start a business so the info I have does not help her. Can you  or anyone eles help us out here??  We are very greatful for the help.

I used to sell businesses before I started my own company. I worked with a lot of SBA Lenders. Every lender massages the numbers differently and have different bank criteria. There is a woman I work with who funds a LOT of deals nationwide. I`m quite positive if your friends have decent credit, and the business cash flows well, there shouldn`t be a problem in getting funding for your friend`s new business.

Prosper is nice for peer to peer lending but they limit the max amount you can get, I think it's $25k? Very easy to get money though and the rates are good, sometimes better than a bank. Lending Club is another one of these sites.
