Looks nice.
First thing that jumped at me was the right side of the screen was empty. Might just be my resolution though, but it`s not very high IMO at 1024x768.

I like the "Lynn will receive $108.53 in cash" that`s a nice feature. It`s the "hey, I want my name in lights too" thing. I also like the retro Atari joystick for the game logo =).

Suggestion, for movies, force customers to pick Widescreen or Full Screen and have that show up in the short description/title on the right and also as a field in the specs on the movie. I despise Full Screen, myself and would be unhappy if I bought one.

Make your logo larger =).

After digging a bit deeper into the site, I was a bit confused by the `sell` and `buy` columns. I guess after you used the site, it would probably be clear, but it seemed confusing at first glance and not really investigating the entire site or FAQ.

If you don`t already have it, add the option to email someone that when you are no longer overstocked on an item and are looking to buy more.

Overall, I like the idea, and I like the site design. Seems intuitive and color coding is easy to follow, though you might want to check to see how that looks to color blind people.

I hope that helps.

The front page is a bit confusing to me. I didn`t mind the width---it could be a bit wider and not lose anything---but there seemed to be too many ideas going on at once, almost like a circus. It`d be like having three plot lines going on at the same time in one paragraph. It works better to have a few paragraphs assigned particularly to each plot line, one after the other, not simultaneously.

Is there any way you could either separate with space, or break apart the front page into more defined "regions?" I don`t mean music, DVDs, and games: those are topics, all within one region.

Instead, maybe something along the lines of "introduction" to the site, "what`s the purpose," and "what`s contained" within the site---something like that?

Not a bad start, I think your close to a very good website, however it isn`t very inviting for someone to dig deeper to figure out exactly how your program works. I suggest making that clear while you have the chance.....

Hello,

I completely dig this idea.  Congrats on the idea and perseverance to start your business.

One of the most important things you can do when launching a new website is to make sure there is copy on the homepage that explains who you are, why you started the company, what it is and how it works.  Otherwise, people are going to say "This is going to take me too long to figure out".  Once you`ve build a strong online presence and brand you can move the copy to an "About" page.  Right now the about page is tucked away at the bottom and it doesn’t really introduce the consumer to the site or tell them how it works.  I really like how blogger.com sets up its three-step process to get started.  Maybe a similar element would encourage your consumer to dive right in.

Another reason to put an focus on this is trust – with your consumer.  There are a million businesses out there and people are becoming skeptical.  If they don’t feel that they are getting enough information about your business to decide they can trust it, they’re not going to stick around.  It’s all about building credibility.

Best,
Jennifer

Jennifer,  excellent thoughts - I hadn`t considered the trust issue.

I recommend a short intro paragraph to say who you are and what you do. You don`t have to go into detail as an "About Us" page would but you should mention what it is!

Good luck!
