Good morning, all. I appreciate any help and assure you that I take seriously everyone's comments. I want my website to be as good as I can get it -- and I am NOT a website designer. I look forward to hearing from the professionals out there.

That said, it should be obvious that I created the site myself. The address is: http://www.success4biz.biz

The purpose of the website is to inform people of what we do and how we do it. It's to draw interest and get people to come to the center for meetings, events and as cowork members.

Borrowing from a description I created in another forum, my business does:

In this day and age -- especially in the economically hard hit midwest -- many people are turning their dreams into small businesses, hoping and praying that they'll be able to make a success of their hard work. Unfortunately, money is very, very tight and the government agencies set up to support small business are more looking at either helping with business plan work (etc.) or want the LARGE small businesses to be a part of their network. Mom and Pop companies are often left by the wayside.

There is a new movement starting however, called coworking and it entails organizations that focus on the entrepreneur, the homebased business, the little guy who spends his or her time working IN their business, and may not be able to see above the horizon on how to work ON their business.

My organization (run successfully in large corporate America) has recently moved back to the midwest and I am hoping to help these people I speak about. I am a connector: I challenge, motivate and collaborate with businesses, supporting them to help them create success.

Thank you everyone, in advance, for giving me your thoughtful critiques of this site. I'm sure that I'll be able to implement changes and see a better response based on your thoughts and ideas.

Nancy

The design of your website is an "out of the box look."

It lacks personality, and blah blah...

If you are offering services within a location, or locations, I would indicate the city / ities where these offices are located. You have no address listed. Also, I would add photographs that better represent the office space you are promoting, and also images about the mail boxes and such.

Bests,

Thank you for the comments, they are appreciated. However, like the chicken and the egg conundrum, until work comes in, I can't afford to hire a web designer. This site was designed using Godaddy and any suggestions that I can do myself with this site, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, again.
