Shane , I like your quote you have posted. " Man`s mind, once stretched....

I heard early on in my startup experience a quote I never forgot : "Jump and the net shall open"...I love it because it equates entrepreneurship to exactly what it`s like. Jumping off a cliff in the middle of the night not knowing what`s down below.

It does open even if you jump too soon...

I think the creative process is more exciting when you work with those who have different skills...In my own case, I am the thinker and my colleague is the accounting guy...works out great.

I totally agree with the quote.....Jumping off the cliff in the middle of the night....the hard part is jumping - if you have never jumped before you tend to want a mentor...someone that has done it.  In skydiving, you always ride piggyback first...so it is with this....but the hard part is finding a good mentor and guide.

I agree Kim - and it definitely leads to great success in the end because you have the power of different perspective.  Everyone should at one time look at a company called IDEO.  They are the worlds best product design company and their process is incredible.  We have had the fortune of having thier CEO come speak and I talked with him.  They include EVERYONE in thier brainstorming process...they think outside the box and they meet unanticipated needs...including all talent and teamwork is essential at IDEO - - and thus they have produced amazing designs we use everyday......anyway...teamwork is key and it works :-)
