Hello.
I just joined and love this site! Basically, I am in my job 8 hours a day and
all day long I am thinking of business ideas. I have tons of them. The
issue I keep running into is that I have no experience starting a business
and thus no mentors or a way to get started. Ultimately, it would be
great if there were others out there that have skills I don`t posess and we
could team up - I fully believe that it works better when you realize your
shortcomings and then find others that have those skills so your aren`t
trying to do it all. I am very strong in thinking, motivating, educating,
learning, technology, and definitely a people person - some say I have a
natural talent with people.

At any rate I have about 5 or 6 really really good ideas and I want to share
those to see if others would be interested in a business around those
ideas.

As a point of interest, one of my ideas involves heavy usage of a database
so if anyone out there has those skills I could share an idea or two with
you.

Hello Shane.

I am always looking for a new project to work on.  It`s even better when I find new people to work on a project with.  I have been self-employed for 4 or 5 years now operating two ventures but I am ready for another shake up and some new blood to work with.  Anywho I would love to hear your ideas and see if we could get something rolling.

My skill set is varied to say the least.  I am very technically savvy and learn fast.  My degree is in Communications so I have done course work in advertising, PR, web design, photography, etc.  I ran a sports photography business for about a year before I got transferred from Cali to Texas.  I did bathroom remodels and electrical work while I was going to college.  Electronics and computer programming are my new passion.  I am currently developing a product with a friend of mine and we are just about ready to do some test marketing and put a polish on our project.  I am a natural born problem solver.  It doesn’t matter what the problem is, I just love working towards a goal.  People who know me usually describe me as a Jack-of-all-Trades.  I have extremely varied interests and love doing research and reading.

Please feel free to drop me a line at bobbyhume@yahoo.com.

Hi Shane and Bobby,

I`m currently in the process of starting a new video game company that develops games in the Casual Games sector, the fastest growing sector of the gaming industry.

Our web site needs a lot of work as it just went up, but you can check it out at www.youngforestgames.com  I`m definitely interested in hearing more about what both of you have to say, as I`m pretty much the same way, work 8 hours (or more each day) while constantly thinking about working on my start up.  It`s so much fun!

If you`re interested in the gaming industry or just want to chat, please contact me at dpadula@youngforestgames.com

Thanks, and have a nice day.

Hi everyone--

I`d be happy to join in, if you need any of my skills.

I`m mainly an idea person, but can help with writing. I`ve done marketing and PR, writing and also some provisional patent application writing. (I`ve also tried my hand at some regular patent aps.)

Matt

Hi all,

Throw my name (Ron) in the hat as someone always up for a good brainstorming session and exploring possiblities. I believe truly great companies can be created just like this. I am a serial entrepreneur and I`m currently a work in progress, but I will get there. My strengths are creative ideas, team building, new concept creation and have a great deal of business intuition. Ask me to crunch numbers and I`ll have a nervous breakdown.

Feel free to drop me a line here or at rryan@thefreegirlfamily.com

Shane - it`s great that you realize that you can`t do it all. Once you realize your personal business shortcomings, you`re absolutely right to look for team members who can round out the team and cover all the bases. Sounds like you have some good leads cooking....
