Well the space is starting to come together and I thought I would share some photos of where we are. The builder is pretty much done with his end, all the rough stuff, so now it`s up to us to get this place painted and finished. I have to say it`s been very exciting, yet stressful. One thing I cant stress enough is thank god our current salon is up and running so were not waiting around for this place to get done. As always dates seem to always get pushed back.

the dryer area with entry to the spa and pedicure bowls:

front enterance to the spa and front waiting area:

front windows and retail area:

the salon (hair stylist area):

employee room and storage:

more to come once it`s painted.

Cool, looks like it`s coming along. I`m sure it seems like it`s taking forever and every time the contractor gets delayed he says something like "Patience is a virtue." just remind him that "Abused patience turns to fury." ;-)

Looking good!

No we`ve been hearing "Oh well get that done! Don`t worry!"

Thanks Elids It does feel like it`s taking forever and it sure has been stressful on our marriage and friendship between Angela and I, we`ll make it through though I have faith.

While it seems like eternity . . . your experience is actually not too bad.  I had a house built.  The builder said 3 months and asked for 4 to be on the safe side - - - it took him 14 months and severe prodding from the State Contractor`s Board who threatened a $500,000 fine if he didn`t complete 49 items within 30 days (they ended up giving him 60 days).  That was after I got a 40 yard dumpster filled with construction debree.  I`ve been in the house for over 2 years and those memories are fading . . .

Your marraige will survive . . . just remember to whisper 3 words -- I love you.

The shop is looking fabulous!

thanks, we started the painting and I simply gave up. there`s just too much to paint for one person, were going to have to pay for it to be painted, which is probably a good thing. To try and make our deadline I would have to paint this place in 2-3 days pretty much by myself, there`s simply no way I could do it. The professionals said 2 days and I could start laying the floor, I`m happy with that.
