Hi my name is Geneva. I love this site.  I actually stumbled on it a few years ago and just remembered about it a few days ago.  So here I am.  Thank you so much for all the great information and advice.

I`ve worked in software for a bit and do love it but I love my health much more.  I`m a registered massage therapist and I`m looking to grow from part-time to full-time or at least more time :)

I`m looking at going back to school for a health services related degree and would like to build my practice over the next year and a half while I save up for my schooling.  Eventually I`m looking to expand that practice into much more to include other manual therapies, education and movement classes for people in real need to boost their physical, mental and spiritual health.

I have alot of research ahead of me and I am starting from the beginning.  I`m currently going through the step-by-step process outlined on the site and will be listening to the radio show today.

Thank you again,
Geneva

Hi Geneva :-)
Take a look at this topic, previously done about massage. You could also use the forum search for the word "massage." There`ve been some other discussions, but the one linked here was pretty involved.

Congratulations Geneva on starting your change in career. I am in Health & Wellness and our business provides similar services that you have mentioned. It is a great business that requires consistency in delivering quality service. Be sure to jot down your ideas (even now) it may help your business to stand apart from others. I find that I am always finding ways to improve as the new ideas flow. We flush through them - see what works - as a result we are expanding in our services.

I wish you great success!

Thanks for the welcome!

CraigL, I`ve taken a look through the post and some others pertaining to massage therapy specifically, thank you for the link.

besthealth, your website has lots of great information on it. Do you work with any businesses in the Austin, Tx area who provide the same services that Solutions Health & Wellness does?  I`d like to offer nutritional and physical therapy services, ideally it would be through a partnership with an established company with those services.  Would a company like yours have any interest in partnering with a company who would offer more of the acupuncture, massage therapy, chiropractic type services?  I have lots of ideas and always seemed to be scribbling things down.

Thank you!!
