I haven't receive much thoughts on my website from outsiders and would love to hear some reviews. Please visit www.BranchofSuccess.com
I agree with Michael... add some more content to the home page. I would also put your testimonial right on the home page.
Are you capturing leads from your site (other than the contact page)? It's almost a necessity these days so you can follow up with unconverted visitors who may have been interested but didn't pull the trigger.
Hello - I saw your message and know how important feedback is to someone with a new site.
Your home page does not resolve correctly on my browser, Google Chrome. The width is off.
I would echo the sentiments about WordPress and add that you can integrate WordPress onto your server (so you can use your domain name) and use their templates (very nice and professional looking). It's then very easy to add pages and posts, and use sidebars for things like testimonials and calls to action, i.e., "sign up today for a free consultation" (like that) so they appear on every page. You do need calls to action to capture potential customers. Also your blog would be correctly integrated onto your site which is more professional looking.
Otherwise I like your nice simple layout and colors which go with your offering. Yes, more content, things like examples of the various business plans, and a little more enticing copy.
But you can add that as you go along. The most important thing is to have a plan, if you'll pardon the pun, for fleshing out your site as time, money and need permit. If you have the basics in place, what you're offering (benefits not features), how to find you, and a call to action, the rest can evolve.
For example, on your business plans page, instead of giving them the features of a business plan, give them the benefits, but pose that as a question, i.e., "Can Your Business Survive in Today's Economy without a Plan?" and then tell them how a you can help them. Like that.
Hope this isn't too disjointed. Good luck and if you want to discuss further, I would be fine with that. I'm not selling any services or anything, but I did used to be a website project manager, and wrote and edited layout and content for new designs when necessary, so I have some background.
