I went to the nearest Barnes & Noble ths evening for about an hour and a half. My 7 year old son and I went. What a great resource! I read while sipping on coffee. It`s better than the library. I did this a few weeks ago. Am I supposed to feel guilty for not buying anything?

Not really.  There`s a reason why they now put coffee shops inside bookstores.  They know some people like to sit and read.  Most people still buy books.

What did you read?  Any good business book recommendations?

I sure benefit from people going to bookstores and simply flipping through books on the shelves.  Most of my new clients come to me after finding my work featured in some of the nearly 100 books in which it is published.  It means they are really doing some bookstore research to find a designer.

Personally, I`m one of those people who can`t walk past a bookstore without going in and checking out the latest arrivals.  I can get sidetracked for hours.
