so for you it`s less about comfort and more about expression, which is cool.

My father, a notorious dress code refusenik, had this to say when he was a consultant:

"They`re not paying me to be pretty, they`re paying me for what I know."

for the record, around here they`re paying me to be pretty. that takes a lot of pressure off...

My work does not allow us to wear jeans, at all!! Not even on Fridays!! When I first started working here I thought every Friday is jeans day so I wore jeans three Fridays in a row then CEO`s EA informed that jeans aren`t allowed!

However, I do plan on wearing jeans everyday on the last week of my employment here

cut-offs would be better, if rebellion is what you have in mind...

Solidarity Meitzi!
We started an unofficial casual Friday and it`s taken hold.
I`ve created my own code that the powers-that-be won`t confront. For instance, if you`re on vacation on Friday, Thursday becomes casual Friday... errrr. Thursday.
I also declare Swaynester Weather Emergencies that call for casual attire and boots.
On my last week, which could be soon due to my chicken poaching, I shall wear cut-offs.
