First, as  start up looking to create my own line of products from scratch, would a baseline four page plan describing the firm, owners, product line to be developed, P.R. and Marketing, as well as general starter costs be enough to bring in what I am looking for.  The second is my idea for realizing my dreams. Tell me what you think.  I emailed The Big Idea and am also trying to find on my own a manufacturer to become a joint venture partner in the biz that could take my specifications and turn them into an organic/vegan line my firm would then sell wholesale and retail. What do you think, is it a pipe dream to find such a manufacturer in the U.S. or Canada?

No. It may take you sometime to get a good relationship and find the right cost, so that you are not out costed in the market place. You have more research you have to do because you may have to go outside the US.

I guess down deep I knew it couldn`t happen overnight and I may have to look to Malaysia or some other Asian or Latin American country.  I am hoping that The Big Idea will take on my dream and help me.  I am working on finishing up the plan.  Thank You for responding.

Many companies are looking to grow and go local now due to peak oil fears.  Consumers are also looking for this. What line of products are you looking to produce?
