I just found this forum yesterday and am so excited.  It is awesome to see a place where I can come and find like-minded people who want to run their own business.

Currently I`m in the rat race but am hoping to find some support here on this site to give me the knowledge and courage to start my own business.  I am so excited.  No longer do I have to go and try to get the opinion of friends and family members who are still stuck in their nine to five. 

I can`t tell you how excited I am!

What kind of business are you interested in starting?

Something online.  I have so many ideas that I almost thought about writing a blog just listing my ideas and how they could be developed.  But I wonder a) if that would interest anyone and b) how to generate traffic.  I`ve had ideas from everything such as marketing technique of hiring a smoke-writing airplane pilot to write the promotional ad, company name and company address in the sky of that company`s community local to an E-book for aspiring hip-hop artitst teaching them the benifits of viral marketing in gaining exposure and sales to an simple online 3D CAD program for prospective buyers to design their own home and then be built by the contractor that places the lowest bid for the job.

The problem is I don`t know which idea to choose or where to find the resources to get them going.

Welcome and WOW. What great enthusiasm! Great ideas! Which are you most passionate about? Which Idea would you push hardest for and deliver to the best of your abilty? That will be the answer. It has to be something that drives you to work at it hard each and every day. It has to be something that is viable in todays market. It should also be something that fits your lifestyle.

The resource part can be accomplished. The SUN website has it all here for you! If you don`t seem to find what you are looking for, than ask away. There are alot of supportive folks here to give you a hand up because they want you to succeed! Ask away!

This is my first day on this site.
I came across your thread about creating a 3D online program. I am myself a Mechanical Design Engineer and have experience working with various CAD software for over 8 years now. Maybe we are thinking about something similar.

My research on internet and online libraries shows there is no software to date to dynamically build 3D CAD models from multiple user input in real-time inside a web browser.Atleast not that I know of. 

Does this interest you? I think once you can build 3D models online ,sharing and review are natural extenstions of such a program.

Please critic if I am wrong.Any suggestions will be appreciated.
