Hi,

I am currently in the process of looking for a small investment of $10k - $20k to launch my new e-commerce site at EvoTronix.com.

I wanted to know what would be the best resources to use to secure this amount of funding? The amount I am looking for is way too small for a venture firm, and I don't know of anyone who I can rely on as an angel investor.

I sold my first startup Elite-Electronix.com a few months ago. I started that site on my own with $400 but it took me 2 years for it to generate $600k in 2007 using only self taught SEO techniques.

Unfortunately this method takes too long and would like to secure funding instead this time around. What would be the best way to do this?

If you sold your first website based on $600 ks in annual earnings, why do you have to turn to an investor to put together a measly $10-$20,000 for your new project? Why can’t you turn to your bank, take out a loan, secure it if required, and be well on your way?

Formal funding on that level isn’t going to happen unless an individual who is impressed with your prior transaction is willing to put the cash you need. Maybe you could even approach the buyer of your first site with an investment proposal. You obviously have a track record of taking a site from $0-$600 ks. You should use this as a stepping stone.

I’m sorry but I’m not getting your rational behind this request. Am I missing something? Please feel free to send me a PM if I do.

Cheers!

Karl
