Lots of articles on licensing, but no clear definition.....is licensing for another company to SELL your product or to MAKE your product?
Thanks.

I agree about the reading; however, I beleive it is a "license" for a or a few designated companies to make your product for you.
If I`ve got this wrong someone please correct me.

Actually it can be either or both. In theory, the patent owner could "authorize" one company to manufacture the product and another to distribute it.

Normally or in my experience the licensing company will manufacture and distribute.  In my case the licensing company gets my product manufactured at my manufacturer overseas for the same cost as me.  This allows the licensing company to order quantities on their own, by their sales forecast and does not stick me with inventory.  Just my experience.
