If you are wanting to acquire backlinks then you will want to focus on sites that provide Do Follow links. You can use SEOQuake to check if your links are No Follow or Do Follow and its a free download. If the link is No Follow its value is limited to generating traffic.

However, be sure to add quality content or comments in exchange for those links. That way its a win/win for everyone.

Many sites use No Follow to eliminate the site from being used for link building purposes. I believe it is a short sighted approach but it is what it is.

Yahoo answers and answers.com and some other answers sites give back links but mostly nofollow.

Mostly you got nofollow back link from answers site, these are give good result in traffic point of view.

mostly back links from question answer sites are nofollow but still it is useful in traffic point of view.
