As the economy gets worse, not better, everyone is looking for one thing, and one thing only, how to save money and earn extra money in these uncertain times.

In my constant research of value based home businesses, very few actually save you money, most are the same old same old, but I have finally found something which is a real home business dream come true.

Well, since starting this thread I have added several new recession proof businesses to my portfolio given many of my former mainstream businesses are showing deminishing returns.  Sooner or later all businesses will be impacted by this deep recession, but as one dies, I simply replace it, and that is the advantage that internet provides us all, we can adjust our strategies overnight.

With unemployment on rise for several months, there is no sign this recession will be over anytime soon, in fact, I predict we will never see below 8.0% reported unemployment again.  Of course we all know it is far worse when you calculate the ones who quit looking, or took part time jobs, but in my life, I have never seen a worse economy.

With that, I dug deeper and have found a few more recession proof businesses which are perfect for the times.  One is so powerful that it may become my main focus given how easy it is to promote with no selling, just telling, and the verifiable value factor is unmatched compared to any other business opportunity I have researched and evaluated.

We all know everyone is looking to save money, not spend it, so talk about the perfect financial strategy, this is it.  Imagine offering your customers and contacts a benefit worth thousands of dollars as an incentive or reward for being your customer or employee.  A product which most people don't have or cannot afford, and it is free, no purchase, no obligation, and most people don't have it, and should to protect their families.  If you want to increase your business loyalty, this is an incentive everyone should offer their customers and employees.  Be a hero for free.

I started mine in 2009 and I gotta tell you, it doesn't matter what is going

on with the economy or with the job market people are constantly withdrawing

money out of my ATM machines and paying my surcharge fees.

1 of my machines even has a $7 surcharge fee!  People always need money

and you know what, we may not like to admit it, but people tend to be lazy and bad planners.

Bad planners meaning they didn't PLAN ahead for how much cash they will need or if where they are going ONLY takes cash and Lazy meaning...they are willing to pay a "convenience fee" instead of going to their bank ATM or even going to their bank to not pay any surcharge fees.

The ATM business you can get into for no money if you know what you're doing and have a good teacher  ;-)

P.S.  I agree with real estate investing too.  I've been investing in real estate since 1999 and the worse the economy and everything is, the better it is for us real estate investors in my opinion.  And lets face it...we all need a place to live.

Well, with the recession getting worse for many, not better, I still see that most people are looking to save money, not waste it, so I have continued my search for truly recession proof businesses.

 

With Groupon and LivingSocial online coupons offering special discounts, no doubt, like with the increased use of clip and save coupons, I have done well using these new coupon services.  Now I see mobile text coupons as the next arena to explode since almost everyone has wireless smart phone these days.

 

Imagine this, you care driving or walking past a store and a text ad hits your phone with a special two for one deal, talk about targeting consumer, this is the ultimate as I see it.  Once you read the statistics of how many people open their texts immediately, it is amazing, and when compared to emails, which most people no longer open, I see this as the future in advertising.
