Hello all;

these website and forum are excellent, just joined yesterday.

I want to start a  ecommerce or  e-service site but I am having difficulty coming up with ideas. I am a web/database programmer by day and have considered "buying" an existing site with revenue, but would rather start my own "flesh and blood".

Are there online resources that have an extensive list of ebiz ideas to help ignite the thought process?(besides the usual "start your e biz" idea books that seem to offer good advice on things like home office set up and marketing, but lack in the actual advice on what the e-public is looking for and what may be a successful venture).

I know alot of this is research but with the enormous amount of information on the web, it is a huge task to find concise info on actual e biz ideas...

***On a side note, I would consider either a partner or employment as a web content manager with an existing business owner. I could run someone`s entire web presence while they concentrated on other tasks..(i.e. marketing, other ventures...etc)

Thank you for your time..

I welcome all replies and thank you all for this great forum!

Paul

I would like to give you some points to consider.  You say that you would like to have your own "flesh and blood" business. With such a business, many times people don`t have the proper guidance to make their business successful.

How about starting your business with an already-established business with a proven track record. How about working with a company that offers ongoing training, coaching, and mentoring throughout the stages of your business?  For more information about such an opportunity, feel free to go to www.shopandmakemoney.com
