I am a franchise consultant and recently became informed that there are a couple of franchises that offer guarantees. While they don't refund all of your investment, I think it will help you feel more comfortable knowing you can't lose it all. Plus it shows how much they stand behind there business. I think you should be careful. This to me is like a case of "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is..."

It really sounds too good to be true, It makes me feel like it´s unreal an non profitable.
I think few companies used to return the initial franchise fee in the first year but I havent come across such a company in a long time.
I have been offered to join a franchise in the past but the way they had it set up it was too restrictive. And on top of that there was no guarantee. Is a matter of fact they wanted me to sign contract to the effect that I was going to pay a franchise fee of $1000 per week whether I worked or not!
