I like the concept. Makes sense. Pretty good idea if it works. I ran a check with the Better BUsiness Bureau. They have an A+ rating. That's a good sign. Just might do this.

I like the A+ rating. I emailed some of their members. The feedback I got was pretty good. Business is slow so this may be the pickup I need. Any other ideas out there anyone?
I seem to not hear about this, but I know a leading China Wholesale Store.
IntoStores appears to be a scam. I gave in to their sales tactics last fall and have not only received 0 sales, but also the only hits I got were from me or probably them. Don't waste your money, this is all hyped up advertising that does nothing more than deplete your bank account.
IntoStores is a scam. Stay away form this company.
Thanks Hortense. I have 15 products on their site. I've had zeros sales with some of the products, but with a few I've done pretty well. In the 3 months I've been with them I've picked up 9 new accounts. No big retailers (mine wouldn't fit in WalMart), mostly specialty shops. One store from the UK. Worth the money for me.
I don;t usually jump on these things but I thought I'd join this one since I was considering their site. Hortense, just because your products didn't sell doesn't mean they're a scam. I know their not a sure thing, but what is. If every product moved it'd be a miracle. I checked with the BBB and they do haev an A+rating,
Then again, for their site to work I think you have to be competitive with pricing and you have to know what you're doing. It can't be as easy as post products and open the floodgates, I've been wholesaling for over 10 years and have done the tradeshow thing. It's a grind so any little think that can help is a good thing, provided it works. I don't see much of a risk other than the set-up fee. I like that it is a month to month agreement so I'll probably do this before the new year.

I was asked by our GM to look into this and determine if it was a scam or legit, and if it was legit, would it be worth a couple hundred dollars to join.
Based upon what I've found, I believe they have found a great way to make money for themselves and doubt my company would reap any benefit.
Of note: Monthly traffic to intostores.com is only 8500/month per Quantcast - Considering that they are spamming every "sales@......" address, I'm guessing that the majority, if not all, of the traffic does not come from my target audience, but from folks like you and me.
There is another forum on startupnation with only one posting (topic id: intostores) - check it out as it is quite interesting.
I seriously question a few of the positive remarks made in this thread - "write-ups" without a source lead me to believe someone at Intostores has joined Startupnation.com just as I did a few moments ago.
Additionally its a little silly to tout a BBB rating for a company that has only been around for a short while. (note that BBB report shows a business start date of 2001, but an accreditation date of 10/19/09... also web traffic was nil until 2 months ago )
Has anyone tried this. All I see are a bunch of yip yapping. Can we hear from some members so I can make a real decision.
