Thank you Diane!

Thank you for the leads on those two stores. I am so anxious to start selling, but I have to pull the trigger (read, put out the $$) to start my first production run. I am trying to fund it myself and it`s a big leap - but I feel strongly that it will do well. Just gotta take the plunge!

I`m checking out your website now..I`ll give feedback on your other post ;0)

Thank you so much, I really welcome the feedback. I`m curious to also know any thoughts on the pricing. It`s a VERY quality product and it`s not a toy, so I`m really in an awkward pricing place. I just need so plain old fashioned honesty, so thanks to you for your time and help.

I think you have a really great site, and a wonderful product.  I just had an "incident" with my kindergartener after school today, and I think I need some new positive reinforcement ideas.  This is an absolutely terrrific idea.  I see what you mean about the price point, but the pictures show the quality of the product.  I think it helps that the top "banner" photo shows a child with the station, as it is much larger than it appears in the product pictures.  The picture with the child helps show the proportion. I see that you do include the dimensions, but this product is siginficantly larger than I originally thought.

I think you`d do best targeting the independent toy retailers or school supply stores.  The independents usually sell a wider price point, and more unique products.  The client base of these stores typically appreciate high quality products and are willing to pay for them.  Have you considered a Jr. version, say with maybe only 14 compartments?

My son`s teacher uses a positive reinforcement system in the classroom, and your product could work in the classroom as well.  Daycares, afterschool programs, etc. would also benefit.

Thank you for your feedback... very helpful. Your comments about the size of the product is interesting. From what you saw on the website, did you perceive it to be too large and would that have stopped you from purchasing it? The picture at the top tends to make it look a lot bigger than it is... the station actually fits under a kitchen countertop or ours sits on our endtable without overwhelming the space. The size is meant to help continuously remind kids and parents of what the expected behaviors are that have been outlined. Also, you may find "Dear Deb" valuable on our website if you feel like sharing your incident and are looking for additional feedback.

I was hoping the size was manageable.  Now that you`ve described the size, it makes a lot of sense!  It did look a little big next to the girl, but maybe if you added a bit of text under the description (and may already be there, I can`t remember) that it fits perfectly on a kitchen counter (I would imagine this is a popular place to put it) or on an end table.  The large size wouldn`t keep me from buying, but  seeing it on a countertop or end table might give a better indication of the actual size.  I know this probably sounds really nitpicky

Please go to MarketPlace.  Click on Food+Beverage, Scroll down to Reese`s HomeMade ChickenPotPies and read my story.  I`ve come a long way.  You have what it takes for us to go all the way.  Very impressive FrankFyte.

I realize your message is over a year old, but hopefully you still log onto this sight.
How did you do w/ the Oprah big idea? Do you know if she`s having another one and when?
I would love some help getting started. I really would love to get on QVC and have
a fabulous idea I need to make tangible but don`t know where to begin??
