Hey there!

I am new here but not to SUN.  I was on the radio show in April of 2006 after reading the book but two days later I accepted my current position in Legal Marketing and am now crawling the walls wanting out of cubbie land.

I am secretly attending school at night to complete prereqs for Nursing school as I want to become a midwife someday.  In the meantime I want to use my creative juices to start a specialty gifts company online while I finish school. I am always making all-in-one kits for friends and family so I plan to start there.

Thanks for the welcome!

I want to call my "baskets" everyday survival kits but much to my dismay someone is already using this (www.msandmrs.com) name.  Anyway despite working in a well stocked law firm, I am asked for needles and thread, advil and all sorts of stuff especially when attending tradeshows. So I put together a few all in one kits for whatever situation you find yourself in.

Through SuN here, I`m finding all sorts of baskets and kits I never knew existed.  People are so creative!

I looked at that other site.  It seems they trademarked "emergencies suck" but not the words "survival kit".  This isn`t to say anyone else has but from the looks of it, you could still use the term.  It`s like saying "oh, someone else used the name `gift basket` so I can`t."  I`m not a lawyer so you would have to verify these things but I wouldn`t count out "Everyday Survival Kits".  It`s got a good ring to it!

You`ll find lots of resources and inspiration here, so welcome!

My mom used to send me "Care packages," back when C.A.R.E. was a bit charity. Obviously, you can`t take that name, but more importantly...what`s the "intent" behind the name? Isn`t it to make life more pleasant and easier?
