Are there really angel investors out there? I`ve met with several venture
capitalists who like my business plan but have asked me to call them "when I
need some serious money". Similarly, my bank won`t finance a larger sum of
money unless I put up the personal collateral (sad to say, I don`t have an
extra million in home equity to pull this off). Have others seen the same
problem? How do businesses find angel investors for the range of $250k to
$1M, or is it more of a myth? Like most entreprenuers, I want to get to
market fast, but it would definitely take some major capital for me to take
the next steps. Any thoughts?
