I love using Craigslist, but if you are ever looking for an alternative, there is a site called Backpage.com that is similar. Just thought I might throw it out there to anyone in need who has never heard of it. I use the Backpage.com for Connecticut from time to time and while it certainly doesnt get read as much as Craigslist, it`s still worth checking out.

I utilize Craigslist all the time. A friend of mine told me about Backpage.com because she used it as an alternative.  I tried it and use it from time to time too.

I just found this new website  http://MoMingle.com as Craigslist alternative.  It is very easy to use and search.  All the ads show up on a map.  You can search by location and by category.  The results are shown on a map in addition to the list.

Here are some very good alternative's to craigslist.

http://www.classifiedads.com

http://www.superads.com

Craigslist is just to big and to much spam in my opinion.

I have looked at lot of craigslist alternative sites but I have found one that may be the one of the best if it gets more traffic.  www.UAdpost.com

The cool thing about the site is that  you can promote your ads in text, video and pictures. It also has a feature that lets you embed payment buttons and display ads.

hope this was helpful
