That`s a great example, from NuEvolution. "My widget," "my red widget," "the blue widget."

The skill of SEO writing is to *include* secondary and additional key words and phrases. It isn`t to replace actual content.

We know from various statistics that people find our signal flags by searching for nautical decorations, marine flags, phonetic alphabet flags, and so forth. We have some of that in the main content of varios pages, but it`s just as easy to include it in alt-text tags.

Not only does it help with being found and providing what customers want, it also helps when people look in "Images" for information about signal flags. To use Edgar`s example, an alt-text tag could say, "Picture of Navy Signal flag alphabet."

Or, it can just as easily say, "Image of Navy Signal flags as maritime code flags used in nautical decorations."

The main point is that e-commerce sites have a LOT of images! All of those can act as helpful additions to one`s SEM strategy.
