I think flying these days is just a faster version of taking Greyhound.  It`s rarely pleasant and almost never without some sort of frustration. 

That being said, I usually go on Southwest.  Their new boarding system is much nicer.  Of course, this comes from the "front of the line camper-woman" who arrives 2 hours early and camps out in the front of line A the whole time.  The first time I flew SW with their new boarding system, I hardly knew how to entertain myself at the airport without sitting on the floor at the front of the line - LOL!  It`s nice to just find your spot when it comes time to board.
