Currently spending two well-deserved weeks in Italy - my reward for finishing my new book!  We`ve rented a house in Segromigno in Monte for the stay - near Lucca.  Tomorrow we head to Venice for three days.  A day or two in the Cinque Terra is planned. Not much else.

Lots of wine, good food and great friends.  Not too much work.  Luckily the house has WiFi so I can check in on book release needs.  The book was not to be released until my return from vacation and was shipped out a month early - so I do need to be available for related emails.

Congrats on getting out of dodge!  I`m sure your vacation is well-deserved.

I just had a friend and family visiting for a week and everyone left yesterday.  I barely worked for a week which is the longest I had gone in quite some time.  While I didn`t go anywhere, I felt like I was on vacation.
