anyone with a typewriter and five bucks
can sue another. Did you know that?
I saw an episode on Judge Judy T.V. Program
where a young woman bought a car that
had a sign - runs great, needs work
late model etc.
But the girl signs a contract that states:
`car is As-is` - You should know what
happens there! Judge Judy made it very
clear (to viewers) that anything outside the white of
the paper is nothing. So now the girl is responsible
for paying for the car, towing it off the property
and (maybe) collecting$ at the dump, too!
What are some ways to protect yourself
in business, legally?
(the answers are opinions - you should
seek legal advisor service before you do :)
