Well you`ve come to the right place. I`m sure you`ll find what you are looking for. As you might expect, money is the quick and easy answer to getting to where you are going, but all you really need is a solid plan of attack.

There are plenty of people here to help you with that and point you in the right direction. Simply post a specific topic and prepare.

It will be fun to watch it take shape.

Again, welcome to the forum.

I think as far as software is concerned, I think that flash animation is
something you could look into. I also personally would shy away from
shipping physical media (i.e. CD`s, DVD`s, etc...) when possible. It may be
that your customers have a perception that they`re not getting their
money`s worth if they don`t get something in their hot little hands, but if
you had a website where they could login and do the interactive courses
online, you`d just have to pay your hosting bill and forget about shipping
altogether. That also makes the business more passive because the whole
process could be automated. You could serve 1000`s of customers
without having to lick one stamp, and to serve more, you`d just have to
buy more bandwidth. I don`t think the interactive software would be too
hard, as long as you don`t want something like Microsoft Flight Simulator.
If you wanted some little IFR instrument training thing where it displayed
a little instrument panel that was interactive and real time, that shouldn`t
be to difficult. I`m not sure if you`ve seen some of the Flash (part of the
Adobe Suite) games that are out on the internet, they are certainly more
complicated than altimiter, pitch/yaw indicators, and the like. You could
have interactive quizzes and everything. As far as the printed media, you
could have an "e-packet" that they could download and print themselves,
or you could charge them for a physical copy if they wanted something
special like lamination or something like that. Just some thoughts. Good
luck, it sounds like you`ve got a niche and have the background to know
what your customer base wants!
