I have just launched ABillionBits.com, (http://www.abillionbits.com) which includes display ad, page driver and SEO features. I built and designed it myself using Drupal open source CMS and standard themes.

The goal of the site is to attract one billion entries, each of which provide a front page picture, a full information page to which more images and site links can be added, and a front page page driver link. SEO is provided through keywords, site SEO optimization which also benefits each entry, subdomains etc. My initial market is mostly small business, but once word spreads it would attract larger enterprises as well.

My main concern is how I am presenting the concept and the "story" behind it, and that the site instructions are clear. It is a pay to post content site, but I will gladly set up a free account for anyone who would be able to review the ease of site use. The concept I got within 4 seconds is that I can put something personal up on a site for $1.50.

My question was why not use FaceBook or MySpace?

I don`t really understand what the purpose of the site is.  After 20 seconds I lose interest and leave the page.  Best I can gather is something similar to Twitter?  But Twitter is free.

Thanks clearly needs better illustration am working on this best to look again on Sunday when I will have redone the texts etc.

Good effort Itzhak, considering you did it your self. Nothing wrong with the idea or the concept. I try did try a similar idea a few years back, I spent ages making a website in Dreamweaver, the idea was to attract enough interest and take it from there.
I was giving a page for free, with me doing all the coding, however, apart from a couple of companys I just could not get enough interest and gave up in the end. Good luck anyway but it is tough getting enough interest and there are other options with more established traffic these days.

I am adding additional features, clearing up the texts and pushing the story behind it in a simpler way so that it shows the advantages over free sites.
