Good Morning You all :)

My name is Rafael, I live in the city of Rio de Janeiro in a country so big that it seems to be a continent...Brazil. I am very brazilian and very proud to be brazilian and express to the world our culture, our beauty and our traditions.

At the same time I am very happy to have among my guests, the american people as most of my guests, thanks to that I keep on learning more about your culture and your people. By the time I have been working with tourism in Rio, I became a sort of "informal embassador" for americans  who often come here to see what`s Rio looks like, and thanks to that, they keep on travelling to many different part of the countries.

I wish I could visit your country one day, since all my life symbols are americans. My music taste, my child`s memory thanks to Donald Duck, Tom & Jerry, Garfield and so on..In the music my big big adoration for the classics of Jazz and Blues, and the real Rock `n Roll, plus the endless natural resources that USA and Brazil had in common. thick forests, long rivers, incredible national parks, big cities and so many things that make us proud about the land we were born!

I would love to keep that contact deeper and deeper and I do not know how to get the target. I have few contacts with some little travel agencies in Florida, and also thanks to MOUTH TO MOUTH propaganda I have been building a good name and and excelent reputation. and I have a website where people can read my tours all around Brazil.

This topic is just a sample to show how much I care about America people and how much I would really appreciate to share more and more the things about Brazil, the facts, the places and the quality of my people.

As I always says, I am very grateful to americans for my english knowledge, for everything I know regarding american culture and also because among all my guests here as I am a tour guide, american visitors are the great majority that I help here, making their life easier in aforeign country, and I really try to make Brazil their homes!

So I would love to prOmote my tours, to open cool discussions about Brazil, and of course I will start promoting the city where I live, Rio de Janeiro, famous for the beaches, for the wild life and the music, BOSSA NOVA...So many things to say that I hardly know how to start, but I am very happy to see so many interested in travel abroad, learning about other cultures and specially curious about Brazil, which just like USA, it is one of the biggest countries in the world, we have a large number of natural resources, same problems, but same beauties and many incredible things to offer for our visitors!
