:-) Why yes, I do believe asking people questions would be a good start.

But also using some reason and logic to point you in various particular directions. Why would you *guess* that there are lots of bars offering hard liquor, and pubs offering beer, but so few places offering mostly/only wine?

Maybe research the liquour laws in Illinois, is it too difficult to get and maintain? I`m from Chicago so I am familiar with the blues scene. Maybe you could open up a really nice cafe` that serves wine and offers great music.

Just a thought.....

The law is strict, but not impossible. One needs patience to obtain a permit.

I am in a similar situation. I want to start something partime as I have background in both Information Technology and Environmental. I am unable to get any ideas. Could you please help.
