I`m interested in starting a part-time or "weekend" home based something. Not sure where to begin, I`m not looking to replace my job or career, but a little something extra on the side would really help.  Any ideas will be greatly appriciated.  I live in Chicago, so the urban communities can be a possible starting ground...

The question is not what to do, it`s what can you do? What skills do you bring to the table?

Well as far as skills go, I posses in depth knowledge of pharmaceuticals, I love Golf, Cars, and once again anything that has to do with pharmaceuticals.

Not only that, but what do you LIKE to do?

Okay....Golf and Cars. One option is to figure out the solution to a riddle:
What problem have you noticed people having that involves both cars and golf?

Its a conundrum I tell you.

CraigL--good point, I think if I solve that riddle I might have the answer I`m looking for.  I`ll have to work on that this weekend.

Going off on a tangent, I have another idea...need some feedback.  I`ve noticed an increasing interest in wine these days, I read a article just recently in Fortune magazine talking about how fast the wind industry is growing. I`m from Chicago, and one thing I`ve noticed is that there`s a lack of wine bars.  I need feedback on this crazy idea of mine.

First do the research to find out WHY there`s a lack of wine bars in Chicago. Wine, obviously, has been around a long time. Lots of people understand the concept of stores, wine-tasting parties, and customized wine sales. Ergo, lots of people have had the idea of a wine bar. So how come there are so few?

I don`t mind the research, but where do I start?  I think simply asking people about their interest in a wine bar would probably give some clue.
