Hello! I have just a launched my company making homemade natural soaps, bath products, candles and "green" flower arrangements on the most limited budget you have ever seen - I am working like a dog but lovin` every minute! If I had never found startupnation I would be pulling out my hair at every turn. Thank you for all the information. It has been so educational and I grateful that you are here!

Hi Patti,

I peeked at your website. Nice products. I would keep your products above the fold though. You waste a lot of precious space w/ your biz name. You only have a few seconds to capture your customers` attention. I would also add pictures to your fizzy products on your home page. Don`t make your visitors have to click your product list to get enticed. Add a picture of a person w/ a phone ready to take a call if questions (ph # below image) and your will further personalize your homepage.

Kristine - Thank you - I am so pumped about my bath products and I appreciate your input, really! The way this web template works is your logo can either take up the whole page (which I tried first and the general consensus was too much) or itty bitty and so tiny you could not read the print - I tried every thing I could but the template would not budge! So... I placed it within the text of the website - one day when I am hugely successful, I will actually pay to have someone take the ideas out my head and make them a reality on the web. Until that day, this is going to have to work. I am so excited - if you are a soaker you oughtta try these bath fizzy`s they are truly wonderful!

Hello and welcome Patti! I have a friend who did handmade soaps for a while. They`re really hot right now, and she did a lot of business. She`s not doing it now, because a few other things have complicated her life, but I`m sure she`ll start back up someday.

Anyway - best of luck with your venture! You have some lovely floral arrangements.
