Hello! I`m new to SN and I`m excited to contribute wherever I can.

I`m interested in seeing what you think of my A Little Hut site. I sell block print note cards and wall art. I want to find out what you think about the photography and the layout and content in general. In particular I`m wondering if I need to provide a larger view of my products.

BTW, I`m a graphic designer and I designed the web site myself. All your input is greatly appreciated.

Love the site and the cards - might buy some to send to clients!

My only comment is that making the cards cheaper for a box set might encourage people to buy more. For example, maybe 10 cards would be $3 per card instead of $3.50?

Regarding my sets the cards are actually very close to being $3 because I only charge $19 for the sets of 6 cards vs $21 if I charged full price. I`m more than willing to sell sets in any combination of the illustrations so I may have to post that somewhere.

Your site is absolutely beautiful! It`s very simple and elegant - as are the cards and wall art. Very impressive. I don`t think you need to add a larger view of the cards; if you click on them, a larger view and description pop up, which works very well.

Patricia, I think the site looks great.  It is clean and simple to navigate.

Your reply to Nikole above is that you offer a quantity discount on each card if someone purchases a box set.  However, I could not find the box set info or pricing on your site at all.  I recommend putting a note on the `cards` page that a box of 6 cards is $19, a $3 savings.  Or you could offer buy 5 cards, get one free.  "Free" is always a good word for making sales.

I sell my notecards for $3.25 each or a box of 5 for $13.50 and most people buy the sets.  I think there is more of a draw for people to buy a pack and you might think about advertising it more.

By the way, I really like your card images.  I haven`t done block prints in so long.  I also dig your graphic work.

Like everyone else the site is very nicely done.  I`ve actually stumbled upon your site prior to seeing it listed here and like it when I saw it then.

A couple of very small nit-picky things struck me about the navigation. My initial reaction was I wanted to click on "Online Store." So maybe treat that a little bit different so that it looks more like a header. The other thing  was you had your store links (cards, wall art) separated from the "order info" and the "view cart" was a couple more links down. I would group all of the shopping links together and then  the other items (about, press, links, etc).

But all in all the site is very nice as are the products.

It`s funny that you mention the Online Store thing. That`s something that`s bothered me from the start. I really need to fix that. Moving the Order Info and View Cart up makes total sense. Thanks for that. I think when you look at something over and over again you don`t see the obvious.
