Hey everyone, We at digi have a feature that will be loved.  Since the feature isnt out yet, we cant really discuss it.

I wanted to know if i can hold rights on a feature ? Like an example would be, my feature does this, but if say linkedin took the feature and made it in there own way but its the EXACT same concept of the feature, and i put a ™ on the feature and the concept and hold all rights to that concept in my TOS, would i be able to sue or collect money from linkedin or something ?

I understand the nice thing to do is, if i do see the feature somewhere else, is to politely ask to remove it or we can discuss payment terms or something before i would sue.

So say i see the same concept of the feature and KNOW that it was created AFTER mine, will i be able to be the only one w/ the feature ?

And believe me, this feature is NO WHERE online, i've done months and months of researching this feature / names / ® / © an everything.  So i know ill be the 1st one w/ this feature. Of course i need to get it out before someone else does though :p

And remember, I'm just saying, if i see the same concept of the feature on another site but w/ there branding all over it and maybe a slight different tool on it, would i be able to do something about it ??

Also, what would i need to prevent this from happening ?

Thanks!
