Hello!

We urgently need $16k in 72 hours for remodeling and website development of a product. We have a deadline to meet for our investors.

Please don't ask for anything as collateral. If you have the money and have no special requirements, please contact me immediately. We will pay when we get our funding (first phase) within 2-3 months. Don't really know what's the going rate right now but we're flexible. Let us know how much interest you're willing to accept for your money that will be fair to both parties and to you especially. Of course, we will go with the most attractive rate, but we'll see. This is a no-risk investment.

Here's the screenshot of my inbox in one paid site where we got our investors (the loan offer is for the investment amount we're requesting which is in the high xxx, xxx). We just joined very recently and already got quite a number of interests from this one site alone.

Here's the screenshot.

I can show you the business plan - well, part of it - as proof.

I will need some of the money sent through Paypal to pay for the web designers, programmers, etc. and the rest via wire transfer.  I am an Asian service provider with lots of clients from the US and elsewhere; i can show proof of my Paypal transactions to show you that I am legit..

Thanks. Hope we could do some business.

No collateral? Give me a break. If this is such a "no risk investment" as you say, why aren't your investors willing to be in additional funds? Obviously, they feel there is a risk.

As what was attributed to PT Barnum - There is a sucker born every minute.

well, if you take it as investment, obviously collateral is not needed.

i guess you didn't get my post. no investor would give you funding from first or second week of your meeting even if your product or business is worth a fortune.

you like to use other people's wisdom to insinuate something you know nothing about. you had better asked for the business plan and examine the link i have given than post your "baseless" and "tasteless" comment here.

not everyone you meet is out to scam you. so get a life, brother!

here's an update of the screenshot:

as you can see there are 2 more additional interested investors to our product.

and here's a sample message from 2 of the investors:

_______, I would like to express interest in funding your revolutionary product. Send me more information on your vision and direction after funding is received. Do you have any videos of your production? Is this product a need or a want? If it is a need or something useful to the cars why not bring it to the car manufactures? That is where the money would be? What percentage of the company are you offering? You say you have a business plan can you send it to me? I look forward in your response. Sincerely; Allen, interested investor

----------

How are ya ______, my name is David. I just stumbled across your ad on find that money, and I was interested in learning more about you and your industrial product. I generally come on this site to find real estate deals related to rehab\'s that are quick fix and flips and easy turn around for profit but at the end of the day I am open to options where I can make more money. The KEY question for me is... what are you paying in return to investors for interest? I like new product opportunities and it sounds like you have done your homework and you are ready to go. What is your interest and experience in this car product, how did you come to create it? What can you tell me about the product? Why are you passionate about this product? Aside from providing capital what other role do you expect myself as a private investor to play? Just in case your ad may have been on this network for a bit already and I would like to confirm if you have found capital for your start-up. Contact me, so we can get your business going if you still require funding. If I\'m too late and you currently have established an Investor relationship, I wish you the best in your endeavors. FYI, if you call we have 2 Davids at my residence, refer to David Senior.

we are willing to pay monthly for 3 months for 30% interest.

you may email me at:

thanks.

we really need to get moving, so 50%. in just 3 months, that's not bad. right now we only require $10,000.

this is a "real" project with "real" investors. we're very optimistic we can get funding in less than 45 days.

hope to deal with anyone soon.

i am just a PM or email away.

update of investors as of 7/22/10:

Hey 72 read your own quote above. Let me pose this question, if no investor is going to give you funding, why should anyone in this forum? You went from asking for $16,000 to $10,000 and went from offering a 30% return to 50%.

What gives?

well i guess those who found my thread here was influenced by your comment.

we can still catch up if we have the money by Monday. If no one's interested, they're simply not interested and nothing to do with the validity of this posting or the project. you win some, you lose some.

we increased the interest to 50% obviously because we want to increase our chance to get an investor within the period we expected. 15k is actually less than 4% of our expected funds in the first round if we can deliver next week to first week of August.

We are looking in other venues as well so we've decided to reduce the amount here.

thanks anyway for whatever.
