I am in the startup phase of opening a nursing staffing agency, with current nursing shortages the way they are, and it estimated to get worse by over 3% a yr with all of the baby boomers retiring, there are simply not enough nursing students graduating to replace the aging nursing force.
A company of a colleague, who just had their first anniversary, had 1.6 million in revenue in their first year.
My problem is, I cannot get financing, hospitals generally pay their invoices 30-60 days (seems they like to wait until last minute) and the nurses need paid weekly.
25,000 would be a great start, and the returns on your investment could be amazing.
