Hi All,

My name is Yasmine and I’m the founder of 123LinkIt.com, a service that helps maximize the monetization efforts of bloggers with ease.

The goal of our site is to educate bloggers about our tool and persuade them to sign up. We’re in our alpha right now (meaning we’re only actively promoting it to a list of people who’ve opted to be notified of our launch). The purpose of our alpha is to get users to try it out, gain feedback and iterate on our tool. We’d love to listen to your objective critique until we’re ready for our full launch. So far, it’s only been reviewed by friends and family.

I created the wireframes and wrote the copy. 99designs.com did the logo and site and I had someone else do the xhtml. I’m pretty proud of the way it turned out. We’re aware of the site performance issue and we’re currently working on caching the images to make it load faster.

My market right now is WordPress.org bloggers who are already monetizing their sites or looking to get started. My questions include:

  • Is our USP clear? If not, what’s confusing about it?
  • Did you click on anything expecting it to take you somewhere and were surprised to see it wasn’t clickable?
  • Optional – if you’re not familiar with affiliate marketing, do we make it easy to understand?
Any other thoughts are welcome. Thanks in advance!

Hello Jasmine,

The website is real clean and nice looking with good color combo and logos orginality. I likeed the concept as well and the easiness to navigate but I found few things which might help and it might answer few of the questiosn.

1. It may help to add How it works tab seperately instead of just the step 1- 3 in the intro page.

2. I found few spelling mistakes in the page text which you can avoid.

3. Give some comparion or examples on how it would work and people can gain out of your product. If they have to share profit, they should be confident enough to believe that your product works and well.

Hope this helps.

Hi Vijaianand,

Thanks so much for taking the time to review it!

It's funny you mentioned a How It Works page. That's actually what the Features tab was supposed to be and we took it out because we were told the 1-2-3 step was enough :) I'll definitely keep it in mind.

Oops, didn't realize there were still spelling errors. I'll look into it - thanks for mentioning. If there's anything specific that you remember, please let me know.

As far as examples, I'm not sure I understand...do you mean testimonals? If so, that's definitely something I want to do after we have some testers try us out during our alpha. I'm also working on a video now that takes someone through the whole process.

Thanks again for reviewing! Smile

Best,

Yasmine

Yasmine,

Features pages give what are the features of the apps not how it works with your blog. I would recommend to have how it works page which is what many look for.

In regard to example, may be you can take some sample bloggers blog and show how it really works and helped to increase traffice in reality not just from words.
