Mike,
I`m on it today! Thanks.

Also, are my previous posts enough feedback for our $1 agreement, or do you need a more formal communiqué?

You`ve been a tremendous help getting me through this.

Hi Carlos. Glad to see your site is coming along nicely. And yes, your feedback has been quite helpful. :-)

Mike,
I just saw your $1 offer for Joomla training. I checked out the site and it now says $19.95. Have I missed out?

Hi Jeff.
Sorry to disappoint, but yes, we officially launched in mid June. Hence the $19.95.

So what do you get? I`m one on those who has reached a point and stopped. I`ve got a test site up on site5.com but I`m stumped on being able to alter the front end look and feel. What can you offer through your program?

Well, there are 8 lessons in the course.

The first two cover installing Joomla and adding new pages and content. So it sounds like you`ve already got that under control.

The remaining tutorials explain
  • how to customize the look and feel of your site using templates and modules,
  • how to create a blog using Joomla,
  • how to spruce up your site by adding images and videos,
  • and the final lesson explains how to add some advanced functionality to your site by installing extensions that have been developed by others in the Joomla community.
Best of luck with your new Joomla site!

We certainly don`t mind answering a question or two (as you can see above from the interactions with Carlos).

That said, we`ve had a couple customers so far who apparently thought that for $19.95 they were buying a full-blown Joomla consulting project. And, well, my business partner and my time isn`t that cheap, hehe.

Mike

I tried registering via "enrol now" and when I  go to pay using paypal it is showing a charge of $19.99.  How do I go thru to the $1 payment.

Thanks,

SN
