Hi Everyone-

I have posted regarding this vanity before but, I am looking for some real good ideas. I am looking to build a business around my number but, I can not seem to pinpoint a good fit just yet. I have had several offers over the years to "purchase" the number but, I am looking to build something as we entrepreneurs always are!!

Other examples of the number possibilities:

1-800-Assistant: Headhunter firm focusing on Executive Assistants
1-800-Assistance: Senior Care market
1-800-Assist2Loan: Lease it out to Loan agents nationwide

If you provide a great idea and I use it, we can talk in more detail about a possible partnership.

Thanks
Tim

you have asked for this kind of thing before.  you don`t seem to be looking for a partner - somebody to share money with.  you seem to be looking for brainstorming, which is OK.

The question is....a good fit for who? You and I spoke about this before. Many people who own a number think that it is automatically worth money. Having a number is just the start. Then you have marketing costs, tradeshows, contracts, agreements, billing, routing, collections, etc.

If you are truly looking for a partner...you need to be willing to give up a fair portion of the equity.

It also depends on what you are bringing to the table. If you are only bringing the number that is one thing. If you are bringing capital, marketing ideas, time, etc. then you can expect a different deal.
