A new era of poker is emerging in Arizona with the formation of the International Card and Game Players Association, a “union of poker players”, in conjunction with the Arizona Card Room, Inc. who provides sanctioned card rooms for I.C.G.P.A. members. Together they have set-up an improved playing field for poker players as well as implementing new standards for card rooms nationwide. The proposed business, The Players Club Card Room, will be the premier entertainment facility sanctioned by the Arizona Card Room, Inc. providing I.C.G.P.A members the largest Card Room of its kind. Funds required for the start-up of this Club will be $1,035,000. The Players Club Card Room is seeking funds from investors in the amount of $1,000,000. Chad Barnett will attribute to the start-up in the amount of $35,000 of personal funds. The requested funds will be used for the build-out of the Club in addition to a reserve fund and 6 months operating capital to assure a successful startup, thereby ensuring repayment. The terms for repayment and ownership in the company are open for discussion.
The game of Poker is beloved by its players and fans worldwide; they recognize it as
an exciting strategic competition. The Poker Player Alliance of Washington D.C.
suggests that over forty million people play poker.
23
million of these regular players
are in the U.S. and account for 10.1% of the U.S. adult population.
As we approach
the next decade, this trend shows no signs of declining. We believe that our new
concept, less expensive fees for table time along with our comparable service, give us
an advantage in this market and therefore will continue to attract new customers.
